Room features: separate room, stunning lake views, panoramic windows, elegant interior, private terraces, deck, private bathroom, eco-friendly dry toilet, solar energy, individual reading lamps, complimentary amenities, comfortable armchairs, towels, shower, hot and cold water. 24-hour security, cell phone charger (USB input). Our heating system is based on eco-friendly ethanol burners for a few hours in the evening.
Included in the rate:
- Breakfast only if booked directly, and if you reserved through the website, the full package includes (Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner).
- 3 shared activities around the lodge, depending on guest preferences and the weather (reed boat ride, wearing traditional local attire, and visiting the local Uros community).
- Heating service for 2 hours in the evening.
- Hot beverages
Do not included in the rate:
- Early Check-inIf you wish to check in during the morning before the official check-in time according to the policies, you must pay 50% of the first night's rate. This is subject to availability, and you must contact the accommodation directly to arrange it.
- Airport pickup or return service (with an additional cost of 40 dollars for 2 people).
- The tourist tickets to the Uros community are not included in the room rate and must be paid by yourself. They cost 8.00 soles per person
- Heating service all night.
- Oxigen service with an extra cost.
- Vegetarian Meals.
- Alcoholic beverages.
- Excursions or tours (Taquile Island and Sillustani)
VERY IMPORTANT TO READ BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL:
Hot water is not available at all times, as we use a solar hot water system that depends on weather conditions. It's important to note that there will be enough hot water for a good shower, but once you turn on the tap, you’ll need to wait 1 to 5 minutes for the water to heat up. Our bathtubs are 100% eco-friendly with a dry bathroom system (the ecological dry toilet, also known as a dry bathroom, is a type of toilet that does not use piped water, but rather uses composting (aerobic fermentation) and drying to break down waste). This type of toilet does not pollute the lake. Our heating system uses eco-friendly ethanol burners for a few hours at night. Only small electronic devices such as cell phones and tablets can be charged in the lodge facilities. You must bring a USB cable to charge your cell phones. Please do not use high-power electrical devices such as irons, hair dryers, curling irons, etc.
Bring warm clothing due to the low temperatures in the Andes. Daytime temperatures can reach around 17°C, while nighttime temperatures may drop to –3°C, especially from May through July. These values can vary depending on the season, and the coldest moments on the high plateau occur at dawn. However, it is usually sunny during the day. Please check the weather forecast for the specific dates of your stay at our Lodge to pack appropriately
Please confirm at least two days in advance the following details for your transfers: (Name of the transportation company you will use to arrive in the city of Puno, Departure location of the transportation for your arrival in Puno, Arrival time and place in the city of Puno).
In case this information is not provided in advance, the lodge will not be responsible for your transfers or any additional costs that these services may incur, as our transfers are scheduled and paid for in advance.
PAYMENTS
Please note that we prefer payments in cash, either in soles or US dollars, as we need cash to cover our expenses. We will accept credit or debit cards with an additional 5% charge on the total price, as well as PayPal payments; all transaction fees will be the responsibility of the payer.
ABOUT MEALS
Meals are served family-style, which means our guests dine together at our large table and have the opportunity to get to know each other and share travel stories. We prepare the same dish for each guest, except in cases of dietary restrictions, which we are happy to accommodate. Please let us know if you have any food allergies, restrictions, or foods you really dislike so we can better plan your daily meals. We usually prepare dishes with chicken, fish, and vegetables. If you have food preferences, we can accommodate them, but please let us know in advance.
At Titicaca Origins Peru, we process and filter lake water for use by the Uros; however, it is not recommended for drinking. For travelers, bottled water is used for drinking, cooking, and washing during your stay. Beverages (BEER, SOFT DRINKS, AND BOTTLED WATER ARE NOT INCLUDED BUT ARE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE).

VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT RESERVATION REFUND POLICIES:
At Titicaca Origins Peru, immediately after reconfirming the room paid for by our clients, the required services are blocked/reserved/paid for, regardless of whether they are transfers, extra tours, guides, transportation, drivers, etc. For this purpose, in case of cancellation and according to the policies of our partners, refunds will be made as follows:
- If you cancel up to 60 days before your arrival at our lodge, we will refund 80% of the amount paid by the client.
- If you cancel between 41 and 59 days before your arrival at our lodge, we will refund 50% of the amount paid by the client.
- If you cancel between 30 and 40 days before your arrival at our lodge, we will refund 25% of the amount paid by the client.
- If you cancel within 29 days prior to your arrival, there will be no refund of the amount paid by the client.
NOTE: If the client cancels the reservation, the bank commission percentage will be charged to the client.
